Independence Square

Accra, Ghana's Black Star Square is an important cultural and historical landmark. A large number of people visit the square each day because of its convenient location in the middle of the city. Various people have referred to it as "the living room of Accra" and & "The heart of Accra". The square is also home to a significant number of businesses and government offices.
